Varna Airport direct flights in winter

 In winter Varna airport has a direct air connection with 17 destinations, five of which are new. Four flights a week to Moscow and two to London. This was announced by the company concessionaire of the airports in Varna and Burgas "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" AD. The company said that the winter timetable of the two airports will be in force until the end of March 2020 year.

New routes to and from Varna Airport are Liverpool, Berlin - Schönefeld, Cologne, Hamburg and Paris Beauvais - Tile. The other destinations are Sofia, Vienna, Istanbul, Moscow - Domodedovo, London Luton, Dortmund, Munich-Memmingen, Eindhoven, Larnaca, Tel Aviv and Milan - Bergamo and Copenhagen. Compared to last winter's air links, there is a 60 percent increase in year-round routes this year.
There will be daily flights to Sofia and Vienna and to Istanbul five times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). In 2019 Varna Airport operates 9 new airlines and serves 5 new destinations. During the same period the airport in Burgas served more than 2.81 million passengers. From the beginning of the year to mid-October, both airports reported a 12 percent drop in passengers, which, according to the concessionaire, is a normal development given the over 50 percent growth achieved in 2015-2018 and the all-time record of the past year.
