Varna Airport starts low-cost flights to Brussels
From Varna Airport you can fly to Brussels twice a week. The new line to Charleroi Airport is at low cost Ryanair.
The first flight from Brussels was held Sunday afternoon, and passengers were greeted with ghostly music and dreadful costumes for the oncoming holiday of All Saints. The new route will provide 35 000 passengers per year at Varna airport, according to the airport data. The line will be operated by Boeing 737-800. The flights will be on Thursday and Sunday lasting about 3 hours.
By the end of September, 1,7 million passengers have served at Varna airports, an increase of 12% compared to the first nine months of the previous year. Expectations are that the growth will reach 15% by the end of the year.
In the winter season, Varna Airport will support flights to Sofia, Vienna, Istanbul, Moscow, Dortmund, Munich Memmingen, Milan Bergamo, Larnaca, London Luton, Tel Aviv, Eindhoven and Brussels Charleroi.
