Varna airport welcommed its passenger 1 000 000

Varna Airport welcomed on August 11 2016 its one millionth passenger for 2016. This was announced by the airport operator.
This year the guest arrives at the airport with nearly half a month earlier than the previous 2015. Michal Masny arrived in Varna with flight of the Polish airline Enter Air from Katowice and was greeted by the director of the airport. Michal comes to Bulgaria for the first time with his girlfriend Dominica and will stay at a hotel in the resort "St. Constantine and Helena "for a week.
They told that they have chosen Bulgarian Black Sea coast because of the nice weather, sea, the best prices, the security and good comments of Polish tourists for the destination Bulgaria. A special surprise for all tourists arriving at Varna airport at that hour were hundreds of beach balls with wishes for a merry holiday on the beautiful Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

Traditionally one millionth passenger at the airport was greeted with a ceremony and received many gifts from the airport, and the Duty Free operator and water park "Aquapolis" - Golden Sands. The guest was taken to the hotel where he will stay at with a special Mini Cooper.

This year airport Varna serves flights from six Polish destinations: Katowice, Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Krakow, and Polish tourists marked a nearly two times increase over last year. Since the beginning of the year until now at Varna Airport are served over 80,000 passengers to and from Poland.

It is expected that the total increase in passengers served at Varna Airport 2016 to be about 20 percent, a record for the last 10 years.
